First made famous by Saint Partick, the shamrock is one of the most iconic symbols associated with Ireland. Although not the official emblem of ireland, it is a symbol known the world over. Saint Patrick used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to the Celts, using the three leaves to explain the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit enshrined in the one.

Joe O’Neill has been working as a jeweller for the last fifty years. All his jewellery is created on site in Glendalough Woollen Mills and is inspired by Celtic symbols found on the local ruins in the valley of Glendalough. All jewellery comes with a certificate of authenticity.
